Zilean, The Chronokeeper, was released in 2009 and is one of the oldest champions in League of Legends. He is a Support/Mage who excels at both protecting the backline and buffing the frontline. Zilean is mainly played in the bot lane as a Support, but he is also viable in the Mid lane.
Zilean being an old champion, has simple gameplay mechanics. Fortunately, his gameplay still holds up with an excellent solo-queue pick and win rate. Zilean also has a healthy Pro scene presence. His ability to revive his teammates makes him a great pick against assassin-heavy/dive comps. He can also function in most team comps as he has good scaling and can operate in a low-economy situation.
6. Time Machine Zilean

Time Machine Zilean, released over ten years ago, is one of the worst Zilean skins. The skin is a legacy skin and is currently vaulted. Time Machine Zilean doesn’t offer any new visual effects or sound effects. As it stands, the skin is just a glorified Chroma with a 520 RP price tag.
5. Groovy Zilean

Groovy Zilean, released in the 2010s, is the second skin released for Zilean. It embodies the 60’s craze and imagines Zilean as a hippie. The skin has the same model as base Zilean with some recolors and new textures for his time machine. Groovy Zilean is mediocre at best.
4. Old Saint Zilean
- Release Date: December 23rd, 2009
- Price: 520 RP
- Chroma: None
Old Saint Zilean is the first skin Zilean received. As the splash art suggests, it is a Christmas-themed skin. Like every winter-themed skin, this skin is vaulted. The skin can only be purchased during the winter months. Unlike Zileans other 520 RP skins, this skin has some new textures making it a tier above the previous skins.
3. Shurima Desert Zilean

- Price: 975 RP
- Chroma: None
The skin imagines Zilean as a time traveler hailing from the deserts of Shurima. Shurima is a harsh desert land, and Shurima Desert Zilean wears appropriate clothing for such an environment. In addition, the skin offers minor model changes to his time machine. Shurima Desert Zilean also has new auto colors and new time bomb animations.
Overall, a decent skin for Zilean.
2. Blood Moon Zilean

Blood Moon Zilean, hailing from the Bloodmoon skin line, is one of the better skins released for Zilean. Released in 2015, the skin has stood the test of time. The Skin comes with new models for Zilean and his time machine, new sounds for his auto attack, Time bomb, and other abilities. The skin also has unique sound effects as well.
Definitely, this is Zileans second-best skin.
1. Sugar Rush Zilean
- Release Date: December 17th, 2019
- Price: 1350 RP
- Chroma: Sugar Rush Zilean has seven chromas, each costing 290 RP. The Ruby chroma version can only be obtained by purchasing the Sugar Rush Zilean Chroma Bundle. The Sweet Tooth chroma is event-only and is not currently purchasable.
Sugar Rush Zilean, released in 2019, is Zilean’s newest and best skin. Coming from the Sugar Rush skin line, this skin is Zileans first epic skin.
Sugar Rush Zilean comes with new sound effects, models, recall animation, particles for his abilities, and auto attacks.
