After long anticipation, Riot finally revealed the first-ever exalted skin in League of Legends, Arcane Fractured Jinx.

Even though it was released back in 2021, Arcane became one of the best video game adaptations of all time. It was a huge success overall, and it still boasts a 100% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes. The popularity was huge, and many people started playing League of Legends after watching Arcane.

As a quick synopsis, the story takes place in the fictional universe of Runeterra. Specifically, it takes place in the city of Piltover and Zaun. It features various well-known champions from League of Legends like Vi, Jinx, Jayce, Viktor, Heimerdinger, Ekko, Caitlyn, etc.

To rewind back the clock, during season 1, to promote the show, Riot released new Arcane skins in the game. They were well received as most of them were free skins.

Not too long ago, Riot revealed some of the upcoming Arcane-related content coming to League of Legends and other games. One of the content they showcased was a new Arcane Jinx skin with a new rarity called Arcane Fractured Jinx.

Fast forward to today, Riot has already released the first batch of Arcane skins. These first batch are mostly spoiler-free skins. And now, they have finally revealed all of the skins in the second batch. One of those skin is the Exalted Jinx skin.

This skin will feature three unique versions that players can alternate in-game. The first version is the default Arcane Fractured Jinx, the second is the alternate future Powder, and lastly, there’s Shimmer Jinx. Each version will feature unique VFX and visuals.

Price

This new Jinx skin will be of Exalted rarity. Meaning, that the only way you can get this skin is through the new Sactum system. It is the new gacha system coming to League of Legends. Based on calculations, it may cost players up to 250$ to get this skin.

This is an absurd amount of money for these kinds of skins. However, Riot has already released skin like Immortalized Legend Ahri, which cost 500$ outright. And many players bought them without a second thought. Since there is a demand, I don’t believe this system is going away anytime soon.

Arcane Fractured Jinx Release Date

The entire second batch of Arcane skins will be released on patch 14.24, scheduled for Wednesday, December 11, 2024.
