It seems the Liyue Chronicled wish banner may not come in 5.3 but in Genshin Impact 5.3. It was rumored to appear in the 2nd phase of 5.3.
Genshin Impact 5.3 is going to be one of the most exciting patches of the game’s history. This is the version where we are getting the first DPS focused Archon, the lantern rite event, and new wishing system.
But it seems there is a catch after all. The Chronicled wish banner, which have been rumoured to appear in the later stages of Genshin Impact 5.3 is now coming in the first phase of 5.4. While we have no confirmation from Hoyoverse yet, there are certain leaks that supports this claim. More specifically Abyss reset conditions that put oil to the fire in this case.

Why the Chronicled Wish May Be in Genshin Impact 5.4
The speculation that the Chronicled Wish banner is going to appear in the early stages of 5.4 is the fact that the 5.4 abyss reset is specifically designed to buff Liyue Characters.
The 5.4 abyss buff will ensure that the normal attack gets certain buffs (mostly damage multipliers) which are stackable. On the other hand charged attack and plunge attacks will provide shockwave triggering true AoE damage.

But take all of these with a grain of salt because Madame Ping is said to be a plunge DPS herself and this can be an indication that we are getting Ping in 5.4. We might also just get our annual Xiao banner considering lantern rite is the only time we get him. So, don’t get your hopes high.
