It’s been almost a year since Chronicle wish. Soon, we will get a Liyue Chronicle wish banner this time. Here’s everything we know.
Chronicle wish banner was the answer fromm Hoyoverse when the Gensin Impact community started to wonder how they will create banner schedule for so many characters. But that being said, Chronicle wish banner has run only once in Genshin’s entire history.
With more characters coming in the game (New ones from Natlan and Fontaine Reruns) I strongly believe that the return of Chronicle wish banners are on the horizon. And if we look into the rumors, timing and previous patterns then it is easy to determine that we will be getting a Liyue focused Chronicle Wish banner this time around.
So, what can we expect from this Liyue Chronicle wish banner? That’s what I will discuss in this article!
Characters Rerun in the Liyue Chronicle Wish Banner
As per the conditions set by Hoyoverse, there are certain characters can join the Chronicle wish banner. The primary requirement here is that the character would either have to be part of the standard banner or have their reruns for atleast 3 times.
There will be 6 character’s and their signature weapons rerunning in the Chronicle wish banner. So, what characters can we expect to see, here is the list:
Ganyu
The first character that will be joining the Liyue Chronicle wish is without doubt Ganyu. We haven’t seen her banner since May of 2023. So, it is the perfect time to put her in the chronicle wish. She will also come with the Amos Bow, as that is her signature weapon of choice.
Xiao
The lantern rite patch has always been the one where we have seen Xiao ever since his launch. But this time around he will be moved to the Chronicle wish banner to make way for Cloud Retainer/Xianyun. The Primordial Jade Spear will also be rerunning with him.
Keqing
When you’ve heard Liyue themed chronicle wish you already known that Keqing will be one of the character who will have one of the slot as the rerun characters. Jade Cutter will be available with her.
Qiqi
Though you may have already lost multiple 50-50s with her, Qiqi is also joining the Liyue chronicle to give you the nightmarish feeling of losing 50-50 to her again. Aquila Favonia seems to be the weapon that will accompany her.
Baizu
Along with Qiqi you will also get his boss, Baizu as one of the characters in the Liyue Chronicle wish banner. He will come with the Primordial Jade Splendor. It is quite good weapon if you don’t have any for your Neuvillette.
Yelan
Last but not the least, Yelan will be the last character in Liyue Chronicle wish. She is one of the best Sub-DPS characters in the game. The versatile Aqua Simulacra will be the weapon accompanying her.
These are the characters and weapons we will be getting in the next Chronicle wish banner. I don’t think Childe/Tartaglia will rerun as he is originally from Sheznaya.
When Will We Get Liyue Chronicle Wish Banner
While there have been no official confirmation from Hoyoverse yet. We can expect the Chronicle wish banner to run in the Lantern Rite Event. But as the lantern rite falls between 5.3 and 5.4 I would have to assume that we will get the banner at the 2nd half of the 5.3 banners. So, we will be seeing the banners in late January.
