Unlike other LEGO video games, Bricktales lets you create your own adventure by challenging your wits and overcoming difficult puzzles by designing solutions from your imagination.
As it turns out, your grandfather’s amusement park is at risk of being shut down by the mayor due to a lack of necessary repairs. And you have been tasked with the great responsibility of rebuilding this amusement park with all the safety precautions in concern. But not to worry, as you have your robot buddy to help you every step of the way!
With the help of ancient alien technology, you and your robot friend can rebuild your grandfather’s amusement park. However, the device draws power from a rare material called Happy Crystals, which can only be collected by helping people and solving their problems. So, you must travel across different worlds using a teleportation portal and help people in an effort to save your grandfather’s amusement park.
The different worlds are represented as LEGO diorama biomes, and their designs serve as inspiration for redesigning and rebuilding your grandfather’s amusement park. Moreover, as you travel to different worlds, you can collect treasure chests and other collectibles that can be used to buy new attires and accessories for your character.
Furthermore, you can also find new brick colors for your building projects in the game’s sandbox mode! And unsurprisingly, many trophies and achievements are tied to these collectibles.
