Patch 25.S1.4 is bringing some much-needed Tank itemization changes and nerfs to Mel.

Riot has announced the upcoming changes arriving in Patch 25.S1.4 and from the looks of it there are going to be quite a lot of changes in this patch.

Starting with the most important change, the tank itemization. One of the biggest problems since the release of Season 15 AKA Patch 25.S1.1 was the Tank itemization. In the patch, Riot buffed a bunch of tank items including Unending Despair, Abyssal Mask, and Heartsteel. This resulted in most tank champions being quite strong, not only that, damage champions like Jayce started abusing tank items.

This is why RIot is finally nerfing tank itemization. Abyssal Mask, Fimbulwinter, Heartsteel and Unending Despair are all getting nerfed. Not only that, Riot is also introducing some massive changes for Mel. Her early game is getting nerfed quite a bit, however, she is getting some buffs targeted toward her late-game scaling.

Other than these, there are a lot more changes arriving in the patch. So, without further ado, let’s go over these changes.
