Rammus is receiving a much-needed mini-rework in the upcoming patch.

We’re only a few months into 2025, and Riot has already released three champion reworks, and there’s another one on its way. According to Riot, Rammus is the next champion to get reworked, and it’s arriving in the upcoming patch.

Rammus, as a champion, has been struggling to find his place in the meta for quite a while. Due to the resurgence of AP mages and the recent buff to AP items, Rammus has been struggling even more recently. Not only that, compared to other meta Junlgers, his clear is quite slow, leading to him falling behind in most matchups.

Thus, Riot is trying to fix some of his issues by giving Rammus a mini-rework. They are buffing his Jungle clear by giving bonus damage to monsters in his E – Frenzying Taunt. They are also giving his most prominent ability, W – Defensive Ball Curl Magic Resistance scaling. In addition to these changes, there are some minor changes arriving in his kit.

So, without further ado, let’s take a closer look at the upcoming Rammus mini-rework.
