Riot just unveiled a new Marksmen champion called Yunara.
League of Legends still remains one of the most popular titles on the market despite being released more than fifteen years ago. The main reason for its massive popularity is the introduction of new champions & frequent updates.
Riot releases new champions regularly, keeping the game fresh and exciting for its player base. They have already released a brand new champion called Mel Medarda back in January, and now Riot has announced yet another new champion.
In the latest Season 2 cinematic trailer called “Here, Tomorrow“, Riot revealed the new Spirit Blossom skins. Along with it, an unfamiliar face, which many speculated to be an upcoming champion.
Riot later confirmed and stated that it was indeed a new champion and was called Yunara. She is a Marksmen champion and is heavily tied to the theme of the season, which is Spirit Blossom. Apart from this, Riot didn’t reveal much information about Yunara. However, they did give us a release window.
According to Riot, Yunara will be released during Act 2 of Season 2. So we can expect her to be released sometime in July of 2025.
