Leaks reveal a brand new Cho’Gath skin arriving in early 2026.

A brand-new leak has surfaced showcasing what appears to be Cho’Gath’s upcoming League of Legends 2026 Season 1 Act 1 Battle Pass skin, giving players an early look at one of the first major additions to the new year’s Demacia-themed content line. The leak originates from well-known League of Legends leaker BigBadBear, who revealed that the skin is named “Petricite Cho’Gath.”

For longtime players, the connection is immediately clear: Petricite is the anti-magic stone used throughout Demacia—most famously in the construction of Galio and Sylas’s chains. This instantly explains the skin’s heavy visual resemblance to Galio’s stone-carved aesthetic, and reinforces the idea that Cho’Gath is being reimagined as a towering Petricite construct rather than a Void monstrosity.

According to the leak, Cho’Gath won’t be the only one receiving this treatment. BigBadBear also claims that additional Petricite skins will release alongside or shortly after this one, expanding the thematic lineup and fleshing out Demacia’s presence in early 2026. This further supports his earlier report that Season 1 of 2026 will be Demacia themed, suggesting that we may also get a new Demacian champion and some updated lore for the region.
