Is There A Third-Person Mode In Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora?
Unfortunately, there is no third-person mode in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, and players can only play it in the first-person mode. However, there are certain situations when the camera will switch to a third-person view. This specifically happens when the players are riding a Banshee or they are in combat while being in the air. If the players are climbing a mountain or any other surface, the camera will also switch to third-person mode.
Unfortunately, there are no options for the players to switch their view to third-person also. It is a bit surprising for the players that the developers did not keep a third-person option but included a character creation session at the beginning of the game. However, according to the developers, they maintained the FarCry approach to give the players an immersive experience in the world of Pandora.
Fans and critics alike did not like the third-person mode being absent in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. Being a direct adaptation of the famous Avatar series, the game had many visual resources to provide to the players. While the first-person view surely does help the players to get a bit more immersive experience while going through the open worlds, nothing beats the visual enjoyment that a player might get by playing a game on third-person.
