There are many collectibles to find during your adventures and many puzzles to solve. Puzzles are an integral part of India Jones and the Great Circle’s gameplay and are a key part of progressing through the story.
However, some puzzles are optional and are missable if you’re not exploring thoroughly. These puzzles also hide neat collectibles as well.
The House of God Puzzle Box is one such puzzle. Though it has a straightforward solution, it might take you some time to figure out.
If you don’t want to spend any extra time figuring out puzzles, then this article is for you.
Below, we’ve detailed how to find the House of God Puzzle, and how to solve it.
Where to find the House of God Puzzle
The House of God puzzle is in an art gallery on the second floor of the Apostolic Palace in the Vatical. The Apostolic Palace is located on the south end of the Belvedere Courtyard. You can find it during “The Stolen Cat Mummy” when you have to look for the four strange inscriptions to photograph.
Keep in mind that the Apostolic Palace is a restricted area, and you’ll need a Blackshirt disguise to enter it undetected.
To reach the puzzle, go around to the left side behind the stage under construction at the end of the courtyard, and climb the scaffolding up to the balcony.
Then, take a left and climb some more scaffolding.
At the top, you’ll be able to climb through to reach the St Peter’s Basilica replica, the House of God Puzzle Box.
House of God Puzzle Solution
To start, pick up the Cleaning Note on top of the Basilica replica. The note will reveal that this replica art is actually a puzzle box.
First, interact with the lever at the front of the puzzle box and move it all the way to the right. This will open a compartment on the left side of the box, and you’ll hear a clinking sound.
Then, pick up the Relief Medallion from the left compartment. With the medallion in hand, go back to the lever. This time, slide it all the way to the left. A compartment will open on the right side this time.
Place the Medallion you picked up in medallion shaped hole in the right compartment. Doing so opens another compartment at the bottom of the left side.
Pick up the Golden Chalice from the bottom left compartment. Then, place the chalice in the square on top of the puzzle box.
This will open the compartment below, completing the puzzle.
For your troubles, you’ll get the Vatican Relics Exploration Book as reward. This will add the location of a relic in the Vatican to your map.
