How to Get the Rare Parts
The Insect Axe requires some rare and difficult-to-obtain insect parts:
- 1 Ladybug Head,
- 3 Bombardier Parts, and
- 4 strands of Silk Rope.
Don’t worry. Because you can easily collect these parts.
Ladybug Heads have a chance to drop by defeating the large and feisty ladybugs patrolling the yard. You should gain the high ground by climbing onto rocks or stumps, then unleash a hail of arrows or spear jabs while dodging their charging attacks.

For the Bombardier Parts, track down the green, acid-spitting bombardier beetles lurking in dry grassy areas near the rake. You must stay mobile and whittle them down from range with arrows or piercing weapons.
Finally, the Silk Rope is crafted at a Spinning Wheel using the silk strands found in spider webs across the yard. Carefully sneak up and collect web fibers from unoccupied webs to avoid harming the resident spiders.

Crafting the Axe
After you collect all the rare parts, then take them to the Workbench. Then you will have the option to craft an Insect Axe. You can now use this axe to chop Hog meat, apple cores, husky weeds, and much more.
The Insect Axe increases your survival rate in the early game of Grounded. You should hunt the required insects and materials mentioned in the guide and craft an Insect Axe quickly.
