A platformer Prince of Persia game was not something many were expecting from Ubisoft. However, we can assure you that the cursed Persian-inspired 2.5D world does not disappoint with its various mysteries and challenges.

Additionally, you’ll get to explore a wide variety of highly detailed biomes, each with its own identity and dangers.

As with most other games, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown doesn’t unlock fast travel right from the get-go. But a fair warning, though, even when you unlock the fast travel, the game makes sure that you can’t make it too easy for yourself by abusing the feature. Let’s get to know more about it and how you get to unlock it.

Unlocking Fast Travel in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown

In Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, you actually have to travel a fair bit across Mount Qaf before you’re able to blink from one place to another. Specifically, you cannot unlock fast travel until you make yourself to the Sacred Archive biome.

Put in another way, you won’t gain the ability to travel fast until you’re well into the story’s second chapter (The Abducted Prince). Travel through the Hyrcanian Forest and find a way to go to the Lower City and gain the Rush of the Simurgh power, which is obtained from defeating the Jahandar boss.

This ability gives you the power to dash midair, which you can use to cross the spiked traps through the corridor to the west of the statue. Use the air dash to now access the location on the west side of the Lower City and the Sacred Archives.

Once there, keep heading west to find a Wak-Wak Tree and then a purple time rift. The game will prompt you to smash the rift to finally access something called a ‘Homa Statues‘. These are basically the fast travel points in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. And you’ll be able to jump from one Homa Statue to another from that point onwards.
