Among six possible endings, find out how to unlock each and every one of them in Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach.
Developed by Steel Wool Studios, Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach is the 8th main installment in the survival horror video game franchise of Five Nights at Freddy’s. The game takes place in the newly built Freddy Fazbear’s Mega Pizzaplex, which is the largest pizzeria ever built by Fazbear entertainment. The Mega Pizzaplex functions like a mall, covering a larger ground for players to explore, including areas like the Disco arcade, daycare, restaurants, laser tag arena, golf course, and more.

The game’s main protagonist is a lost child named Gregory, who is entrapped within the Pizzaplex after failing to reach the exit before closing time. Guided by Freddy Frazzbear himself, Gregory needs to find another way out of the facility before he is captured by the dark entity named Vanny, or the murderous animatronics looking for him. While the main goal of the game might feel straightforward, the ending you’ll get largely depends on the choices you make throughout the game. In this guide, we will go over all six possible endings in Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach.
1. Bad Ending – Gregory Escapes Alone
Perhaps the most common ending to unlock, it is still certainly one of the worst endings you can get in Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach. In this ending, Gregory successfully escapes the premise with Freddy’s help. However, instead of going back to his parents, he lives out his life on the streets, using a local newspaper as a blanket that reads the names of all the missing children.
Earlier in the game, Venessa mentions to Freddy that there is no mention of Gregory in the system. Implying he was not a registered guest who visited the Pizzaplex with his parents, but simply a homeless kid who had most likely sneaked in illegally – choosing the worst night to do so.
This ending will yield you 1 star with no post-credit scenes, and all you need to do to unlock it is to leave the premise through the front entrance at 6 AM after completing the game. This is considered the worst ending because you get out of the facility without uncovering the dark secrets of Fazbear entertainment and William Afton, Vanny is still out there, children continue to go missing, and Freddy’s fate after helping you escape remains unknown.
2. Good Ending – Gregory and Freddy Escape Together
This is one of the good endings that this game has to offer. In this ending, both Gregory and Freddy escape Freddy Fazbear’s Mega Pizzaplex through the loading dock together in a company van. Although Freddy mentions that he cannot survive without the charging stations inside the Pizzaplex, Gregory is able to revive him using the car’s battery – implying he can be charged using alternative power sources.
This ending will yield you two stars, with a post-credit scene that shows a newspaper headline of Freddy being replaced by a new animatronic named Glamrock Mr. Hippo. To unlock this ending, you will need access to Level Seven Security Badge. By the time you complete the base storyline, you should already have access to Level Six.
After obtaining the Level Seven security badge, head to the Loading Docks in Basement 1 and you’ll find the Exit Door near where the Loading Docks Controls are. However, you must keep in mind that it’s not the best or true ending, as you leave without uncovering all the secrets of the facility and children continue to go missing.
3. Canon Good Ending – Defeating Burntrap
This is the canon good ending of Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach, and also one of the most elaborate ones to unlock. In order to unlock it, you must fully upgrade Freddy with all animatronic’s perks such as Chica’s Voice-Box, Monty’s Claws, and Roxy’s Eyes. Once you are done upgrading Freddy, head to Roxy’s Raceway to find the secret area and exit through the red door with the “Staff only” sign.
After taking a one-way trip down a barely functioning elevator, you will find yourself at the now burnt down old Pizzeria from Five Nights at Freddy’s 6. You will find William Afton at a charge station, possessing a Bonnie suit. After defeating Burntrap, a victim possessing Funtime Freddie or Blob kills Springtrap, allowing you to escape the facility together with Freddy before it collapses.
This ending yields you 2 stars, with a post-credit scene of Freddy and Gregory calmly enjoying the sunrise together atop a hill. This is the canon good ending as Springtrap is the true villain of the game. However, Venessa and her alter ego Vanny’s fate remains unknown, as it is not shown whether or not she survives the collapse of Freddy Fazbear’s Mega Pizzaplex.
4. Bad Ending – Vanny Unmasked Ending
In this ending, Freddy and Gregory decide to escape the Pizzaplex after deciding to burn it to the ground. After Freddy says “it’s time to end this” and sets the place on fire, they proceed to make their escape through the emergency fire exit near the prize counter. After reaching the rooftop, Gregory is ambushed by Vanny, who grabs a hold of him.
Seeing this, Freddy rushes towards Gregory and pushes Vanny over the edge of the rooftop, and they both fall to their death – with Gregory screaming Freddy’s name in shock. After heading down, Gregory lifts up Vanny’s mask, revealing that it was indeed Venessa under the mask this entire time.
This ending, although devastating to players, yields 2 stars. The post-credit scene reveals a seemingly-alive Venessa looking down at Vanny’s lifeless body sorrowfully. However, given the nature of the game’s premise, it could very well be Venessa’s spirit that’s trapped in the building, like all the other souls of the victims and the Ashton family. A newspaper headline of the next day reveals that Freddy Fazbear’s Mega Pizzaplex has indeed burned down, with Fazbear entertainment calling back all the flammable toys.
5. Bad Ending – Dissassembling Vanny
Alright, so this is also another one of the bad endings in FNAF: Security Breach, but also by far the worst ending for Vanny. To unlock this ending, you will first need to find Vanny’s hideout, which is located in Fazer Blast. You will need to use your Party Pass to access Fazer Blast. Then when you are at the front entrance of Freddy Fazbear’s Mega Pizzaplex at 6 AM and Freddy asks you whether you want to Stay or Leave, pick the third option, which is “Vanny”.
This will play a cutscene of Vanny pressing a button, ordering her robot minions to tear apart Freddy. As Freddy is under attack, he is able to guide Gregory on how to override the controls. You will need to go up to Vanny’s lair and press the button she did previously. This will turn her robots against her and they will rip her apart from limb to limb in a gruesome fashion.
As Gregory runs towards Freddy, he dies telling Gregory that he is his superstar. Although no one but Gregory survives this ending, players will still receive 2 stars for unlocking it. In a post-credits scene, a newspaper headline reads that Fazbear Entertainment has closed due to ‘health concerns’, with plans of reopening next season – a direct nod at future FNAF games.
6. Best Ending – Venessa’s Saviour Ending
This is by far the best and most conclusive ending that Five Nights At Freddy’s: Security Breach has to offer. To unlock this ending, you must save Venessa from her alter ego state, that is Vanny. In order to save her, you must seek out, play, and beat all three Princess Quest arcade games in order. Princess Quest I is located in the backroom of Glamrock Beauty Salon. Princess Quest II is located in Fazcade. And lastly, Princess Quest III can be found inside Vanny’s Lair.
Once you beat all three of these mini-games in the correct order, Venessa will break free from her Vanny persona, leaving her bunny suit’s mask behind. Once in control of herself again, Venessa will escape the Freddy Fazbear Mega Pizzaplex along with Gregory and Freddy’s still functioning head.
This being the best ending this game has to offer, will yield players 3 stars. With Venessa by his side, Gregory will no longer have to live out on the streets alone, and will instead have a mother figure be there for him. With Venessa’s talents as an engineer, it is reasonable to assume that she can rebuild Freddy down the line.
