Learn how to unlock all the characters in Halls of Torment.

Halls of Torment is a fun roguelike experience presented to the players by Chasing Carrots. Players can have a fun time finishing this game while going against massive waves of monsters and killing them with the characters that they unlock. Halls of Torment brings a mixed experience from famous titles like Diablo and Vampire Survivors.

There are seven playable characters in the Halls of Torment. Each of these characters has a unique playstyle of their own. Players have to unlock these characters by completing some specific tasks. Moreover, they can also upgrade these characters to make them stronger for battle in the Halls of Torment.

Unlock All Characters in Halls of Torment

CharacterHow to Unlock
SwordsmanThe swordsman is automatically unlocked for everyone from the beginning of the game.
ArcherIn the game’s first stage, make sure to survive for 4 minutes. Keep running around and protect yourself from any kind of damage for 4 minutes to successfully unlock this character.
WarlockYou must defeat the Wyrm Queen boss in the second stage, “Ember Grounds.” This boss will appear after 5-6 minutes into the second stage boss near the end of the timer for the stage.
ExterminatorYou can unlock the Exterminator by defeating 1000 enemies in one run during the second stage Ember Grounds.
ClericDefeat the Lich Boss in the first stage to unlock Cleric. Lich will appear when there are 10 minutes left of this stage.
SorceressYou need to defeat 10,000 enemies in one run in the Forgotten Viaduct stage. Make sure to equip yourself with enough health items, as finishing 10,000 enemies in one go is not an easy thing to do.
ShieldmaidenDefeat the Wraith Horseman boss in the Forgotten Viaduct stage to unlock the Shieldmaiden character. Wraith Horseman will appear in the early part of this stage, so make sure to save up enough HP to go for the 10,000 enemies that you are supposed to defeat.
