Smalland: Survive the Wilds is the latest survival game where you play as a tiny creature in the vast and open world. Players can explore regions, find resources to survive, and craft weapons and other items in the game.
Players can enjoy and play in the Multiplayer Mode, where you can enjoy Survive the Wilds on another level with your friends! You can build your colony and protect it and yourself from dangerous creatures like Ants, Bees, and other more enormous insects. But not all insects will be your enemy in Smalland: Survive the Wilds, as different allies will await you, like, Grasshoppers, Ladybugs, etc.
One of the crucial allies is Grasshopper. You can find them almost in every part of Survive the Wilds if you look closely enough. Players can Tame a Grasshopper, which will help them move quickly from one place to another in the open world of Smalland.

How To Tame A Grasshopper
To Tame a Grasshopper in Survive the Wilds, you may follow the steps below:
Find One
You will need to find a Grasshopper to Tame it. These are some of the places that you can search to find a Grasshopper:
- Great Tree
- Near NPC Herne
- Near The Elder
- Near Beginning Region
Unlock Cauldron
After that, you must Unlock Cauldron because you will need to finally make the Grasshopper Treat to Tame it in Cauldron.
To unlock Cauldron, you will need the following;
- Stone
- Refined Wood
Now, you will get the Refined Wood from Stonecutter. And it will take 1x Wood and 1x Seed Oil to make the Refined Wood.
Damage the Grasshopper
And then, you must weaken the Grasshopper, but you must not kill it. Decearse its Health Stats, and when it is weak enough not to fight back, get on its back.
Feed the Treat
And finally, you make the Grasshopper Treat in Cauldron to feed the Grasshopper to make it stronger and Tame it.
The Grasshopper Treat recipe is as follows;
- Insect Egg
- Petal
- Seed Oil
Get all these items together and feed the Treat to your Grasshopper. Finally, press F on your keyboard to Tame it and ride with your Pet. But remember, you can have only one Pet at a time in Survive the Wilds. And your Pet will always stay by your side, be your Mount, and fight with you against other enemies.
