Here is all you need to know if you want to make some quick money through pickpocketing in Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
Developed by Ubisoft, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is Ubisoft’s latest addition to the majorly successful Assassin’s Creed series. The game is their thirteenth major installment in the series which takes the gameplay back to the roots that made it popular.
Therefore it is meant to be reminiscent of older Assassin’s Creed titles with more linear and story-focused missions.

Along with that, aspects such as parkour, close-quarter combat, and stealth are given much priority in this entry, and there seems to be a lessening of the role-playing facets that are prevalent in the last few AC titles. As a result, long-time fans of the series are praising the game and claiming it to be a return to form for the series.
One of the core gameplay mechanics that has been around for a while in the series is the ability for you to pickpocket NPCs for a handful of cash or other resources.
However, pickpocketing in Assassin’s Creed Mirage is a bit more complicated than it was in the previous Assassin’s Creed games. So, let’s dive right into it.
Who can you Picket Pocket in Assassin’s Creed Mirage
You can pickpocket anyone who has a dangling coin purse hanging on their hip. It’s quite easy to spot. However, to make things much more convenient, you can also use your Eagle Vision to highlight the coin purses.
Pickpocketing in AC Mirage is a fast and efficient way of gathering money and resources. After all, you can get a whole range of useful resources by pickpocketing. This includes money, tokens to open chests and bribe merchants, consumable items like throwing knives, health elixirs, and even crafting components.
How Do You Pickpocket in Assassin’s Creed Mirage

As mentioned, the pickpocketing mechanic in AC Mirage is a tad trickier. The action requires specific time, which turns this into a timed mini-game of sorts.
Whenever pickpocketing, a line moving from the outside of a blue glowing shape to the inside will appear.
The trick is to press the action button (E on PC, Triangle on PS5, and Y on Xbox) just when the line moves over the blue shape, which will make the shape change its color to orange.

Now be aware that failing a few times will get you notoriety in the area, and also, some pockets are more difficult to pick than others. Meaning that, for some, the line moves a whole lot faster than others. Additionally, the blue shape might be different as well.
I found that the more valuable the item the person carries in their pouch, the stricter the time window becomes, making it more difficult to pickpocket. But don’t worry; with a little bit of patience and practice, you will master the art of pickpocketing in Assassin’s Creed Mirage in no time.
