Palworld is a Japanese action-adventure survival game which is developed by Pocketpair. The game is well-optimized in terms of performance at early access. Palworld is heavily inspired by Pokemon, where you will collect animal-like creatures known as “Pals.”You will wake up on an island in an unknown archipelago with various ruins and pals surrounding other survivors and factions. You need to survive and thrive in these lands as a Huntress. Since it’s still in early access, there’s not enough information regarding the game’s story yet.

Since your primary target is to catch these pals, you will need pal spheres that can be crafted with Paldium fragments. Without pal spheres, you can’t catch any of these creatures. This article will show you the steps to gather the ingredients to collect and then make Pal Spheres.
How to Make Pal Spheres in Palworld
1. Build Primitive Workbench
First, you need to open the Technology window. If you have the Primitive Workbench unlocked, then you can build it. Select the blueprint of the Primitive Workbench and place it on the ground. You will need two woods to make it. Select the Build button (F on PC) and hold it for a few seconds, and your Primitive Workbench will be ready.
2. Craft Stone Pickaxe
Now, on the Primitive Workbench, by pressing the F button (on PC), you will be able to select the crafting recipes for tools. Now, select the recipe for Stone Pickaxe. Make sure you have the required materials for crafting. To craft the stone pickaxe, you will need:
- Stone x5
- Wood x5
Now, Hold F to craft and acquire it.
3. Get Paldium Fragments
Next, you need to gather Paldium fragments. You can obtain those by breaking blue Paldium rocks. You can easily find these rocks throughout Palpogos Island. Use the crafted Stone pickaxe to break the rocks efficiently. You will also get stones besides Paldium fragments, which you need to unlock the Pal Sphere.
4. Craft Pal Sphere
Open your Technology tab and select the Pal Sphere from the second row. To unlock the Pal Sphere recipe, you will need:
- Paldium Fragment x1
- Wood x3
- Stone x3
Since you have gathered all of the necessary ingredients, head to the Primitive Workbench and start the production of crafting Pal Sphere. Hold the F button (on PC) to finish crafting and acquire the item.
