This one low-key feature can help you keep track of all the dungeons in Elden Ring, making life much easier.
FromSoftware’s masterpiece Elden Ring has been out for a couple of weeks, and the game is now the most trending game in the community. The Soulsborne games are known for their myriad of bosses dungeons that are punishing and rewarding as well. The formula that keeps players hooked.
Unlike other RPGs, where objectives, maps, checkpoints, etc., keep players well informed on what to do next, the Soulsborne genre tends to leave all these to the player’s intuition, exploration, and navigation skills. However, Elden Ring brought some changes to make exploration a bit lenient by bringing in a map. This one amazing feature that was just recently discovered will make tracking completed dungeons a breeze.
A Reddit user by the name of u/Vascio recently posted about a hidden feature in the map that lets you check off completed dungeons.

Sites of Grace are checkpoints that restore health stamina, lets you level up, and much more. Moreover, these checkpoints are available near all boss locations and dungeon entrances. Hence, the map displays the Site of Graces as checked off if you visit them. Essentially letting you keep tabs on what bosses and dungeons you went to or completed.
Tracking Site of Graces near Dungeons and Bosses
Still confused about bringing up the checked-off Sites of Graces in your map? This is how to do it.
- Open up the map window by pressing Select/Touchpad, View
- Press Y/Triangle button to bring up a list of Sites of Grace
- Press R3/L3 to bring up a check near the names of the Sites of Grace you visited
Even though neither the game nor control settings ever mention this nifty feature, it still is easy, and now every player can keep track of their bosses and dungeons without getting lost in the vast world of Elden Ring.
With how much content the game has stored for us, this looks like just the tip of the iceberg. Who knows what more hidden content, features, and controls players discover while playing. It is safe to say hundreds of players completed the game or played through 100+ hours without even knowing this trick existed at all. Therefore, keep on continuing your adventure in the Lands Between.
