Zweihander weapon stats and use
The Zweihander is a Colossal class sword with slow speed but balanced out with significant damage. Furthermore, it can also make a thrusting attack that allows you to attack from a reasonable distance. The high attack and its move set can also break enemy stance. The Zweihander main stats are:
- Physical Attack: 141
- Critical ‘Crit’ Damage: 100
- Strength Rank: D
- Dexterity Rank: D
- Weight: 15.5
Apart from these, the minimum strength and dexterity requirements to wield this weapon are 19 and 11, respectively. Even though the base stats cannot inflict any elemental damage such as Fire, Magic, Holy, etc., you can upgrade from the Blacksmith and see what benefits you receive.
Finally, the two valuable traits of this giant sword are it has great guard negation for two-handed users and “Stamp” Ash of War. Stamp is an ability that can dismiss regular enemy attacks, and this can further be combo-ed by heavy attacks, which will deal severe damage and send smaller enemies flying.
Zweihander Location in Elden Ring
Getting the Zweihander is really easy.
When you start the game, you will be at Limgrave. Head south of this region, and look for the ‘Bridge of Sacrifice.’ Cross this bridge and keep walking along the trail, and when you reach the split road, take the left path and continue moving. Soon you will reach the ‘No Man’s Land Merchant Shack.’ Clear any enemies you find along the way to grind for Runes and level up your character so that they meet the minimum requirements for the weapon.
At the Merchant Shack, speak with the merchant to buy the Zweihander for 3500 Runes and try to grind for as many Runes as possible on the way to the merchant.
