As Arcane Season 2 is right around the corner, here’s how you can get the exclusive “What is This” emote in League of Legends.
Back in 2021, Riot released a Netflix show based on League of Legends called Arcane. It was based on the story of Piltover and Zaun and featured well-known characters like Vi, Jinx, Jayce, Ekko, Heimerdinger, etc. It was a huge success overall, and it still boasts a 100% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes.
Back then, to promote the show, Riot did many collaborations in League of Legends and out of the game. In League of Legends, they released some in-game missions, which when players completed them, they could get Arcane-themed skins for free. These skins were Arcane Jayce, Arcane Vi, Arcane Jinx, and Arcane Caitlyn. There is also Firelight Ekko which is part of the Arcane universe.
Due to the success of the first season, after the end of Arcane Season 1, Riot immediately confirmed that season 2 is in production. And then earlier this year, Riot teased that Arcane Season 2 will be coming out at the end of 2024. Moreover, it will also be the final season of this show.
In order to promote the final season, Riot Games is co-streaming the premier of Arcane Season 2 on their official Twitch channel. Additionally, Riot Games is also giving away an emote during this premier. Here’s how you can get the “What is This?” emote in League of Legends.
