Learn all you need to know about crafting all weapons in Raft. This guide will also get you an overview of these combat items.
Surviving in Raft will bring you back to the stone age, well, in a sense or so. Travel from island to island, create a base, craft daily usable utensils, and fight. You might wonder what’s there to fight. Well, the wilderness is all about the “survival of the fighters.” From the land to the endless sea, every second counts. Just like in Sub-Saharan Africa, in 60 seconds, a minute pass.
Only a handful of combat items are available for you to craft and use in Raft. So, make proper use of the resources as these weapons will be the only ones standing between your death and the smoothie that you have prepared in the juicer. Let’s get you inside of all the weapons in Raft.

Crafting All Weapons in Raft
You will find some melee weapons and bow-arrows under ranged weapons in Raft. Each of them requires different kinds of resources to craft. But there are some common items as well. Let’s hop in without further ado.
Wooden Spear
- 8x Planks
- 3x Ropes
Wooden Spear is the first one to get that is available for the player in Raft. While you utilize this weapon, the prey will take you as a defensive animal rather than being offensive to them. The 5 units of damage are enough to push away that damn shark from your raft. To actually harm that thing, you want to have something better. Anyway, to slay a seagull, however, takes only 2 of its hits.
Metal Spear
- 6x Planks
- 2x Ropes
- 2x Metal Ingot
- 1x Bolt
As I have mentioned already, to draw blood from that damn shark, you need something that feels like a real weapon. Metal spear is here to fill that gap—a fine addition to your arsenal to poke whoever and wherever. The damage has increased significantly by twice that of a wooden spear. This spear can be the end-game weapon as its range will eventually aid in keeping distance between you and your prey. The shark will take around 15 stabs to breathe its last breath. However, you can slay the lurkers in just under 3 stabs.
An important note is that the Metal Ingot required for crafting Metal Spear must be researched at the Research Table. You will also need some other items to be researched. So, build this Research Table as soon as you can. It will take 14x Planks and 2x Scraps to create a Research Table.
Machete
- 3x Scraps
- 2x Rope
- 2x Metal Ingots
- 2x Bolts
With a little damage upgrade than the Metal Spear, this bad boy can cut through anything that moves. Say, vines are blocking your way? Cut it down. Tapes on the door? Cut it down in an instance. Anything moving? Swirl it in the air first to assert dominance. However, you will need the blueprint from the Mama Bear’s cave. You will find it on Balboa Island.
Titanium Sword
- 3x Scraps
- 2x Ropes
- 3x Titanium Ingots
- 2x Bolts
The ultimate weapon to cut down your foes and preys like a cake. All the things you could do with the Machete, you can do with Titanium Sword. The difference is that it’ll feel much better with the Titanium Sword. Well, good handy things always come with unsung benefits. This sword is like one of them. You will need the blueprint from Utopia. After that, you will also need it to be researched at the Research Table.
Bow and Arrow
- 6x Planks
- 4x Ropes
- 2x Vine Goo
- 1x Bolt
You will only have one type of bow in Raft. However, there are several kinds of arrows to fit in. You will get 60 usages for a single bow. Apart from that, the fired arrows are retrievable, not those fired in the ocean. Well, there’s still a chance if you can catch them before they drown.
Moreover, arrows have a terrible tendency to get despawned. So, retrieve them quickly. If we talk about their significance, there is an endless significance for ranged weapons in this survival game. Let’s talk about the arrows it can fire.
Stone Arrow
- 3x Planks
- 6x Stones
- 6x Plastics
Your average arrow is made with a stone on the tip. It deals 10 damages, and you will get 30 chances to write your fate.
Metal Arrow
- 3x Planks
- 1x Metal Ingot
- 6x Feather
From here, arrows start getting expensive. Well, the damages tell the stories themselves. A staggering 15 damage is enough to stand toe to toe with the Machete. Pretty obvious that the Metal Arrow is way ahead only because of being a ranged weapon.
Titanium Arrow
- 3x Planks
- 1x Titanium Ingot
- 6x Feathers
Now, things start getting interesting. You will need to smelt Titanium Ore and Planks to retrieve Titanium Ingot. From that, you can make Titanium Arrows, which will also need the Utopia blueprint. Sure, it is a hell of a work for this gem. It deals the highest amount of damage out of all available weapons.
That is all I have for all the weapons in Raft, folks. Most probably, there will be new addition very soon. I will keep you updated. All you need to do is, bookmark this page and visit us from time to time. Prost!
