Everything you need to know about catching Talon Drones in Spider-Man 2.

Spider-Man 2 is an open-world action-adventure game with a heavy focus on its story, just like its predecessor. The game is set 10 months after the events of Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

And this time, you take on the role of both Peter Parker and Miles Morales as they try to balance their academic and personal lives with their lives behind the mask as they fight to protect New York City from a number of threats, such as the iconic villains Venom, Kraven the Hunter, Sandman, etc.

Furthermore, like the original game, the game has a plethora of content for players to enjoy. Including a story that rivals Spider-Man stories of any medium, as well as tons of side content. Talon Drones are just one of the side content for you to complete.

Talon Drones are 9 survey drones used by Kraven the Hunter to monitor the people of New York to help him in quest to take down powerful prey. They appear as Unidentified Target missions on the map.

These missions are unlocked after completing the main mission, “Stay Positive.” You can get XP and rare tech parts to help upgrade Peter and Miles’s skills, making them more effective in combat, traversal, etc. Thus, these missions are worth completing just for the rewards.

This guide focuses on Talon Drones, how to catch them, and all 9 of their locations.

How to Catch Talon Drones Spider-Man 2

Unidentified Target missions are chase sequences started by hidden transmitters on the rooftops of the city. You’ll be able to identify them by a vertical beam of light that shines from the rooftop they’re on.

This hologram will start to fade as you get closer to the transmitter. Approaching the transmitter will start the mission, which will have you chasing a Talon Drone as you download the data from it. Remember that the chase sequence requires a bit of skill with your swinging and gliding.

However, the Talon Drone leaves behind a slipstream in its trail, which you can stay within to maintain your gliding speed. When the download ends, you will need to catch up and get close to the drone. Then, press Triangle to destroy it.
