Call of Duty Black Ops 6 will be the 24th addition to the mainline Call of Duty series and is close to release. Fans have clamored to try out the revamped movement system as well as a host of new gameplay additions.

The most anticipated and significant update is the introduction of the Omni-movement system which, for starters, will allow you to dive sideways, backwards, etc while maintaining aim in the same direction you started aiming at,

The good news is Black Ops 6, like previous entries, will have an open beta period so that players can try out the multiplayer. Accessing the beta means you’ll be able to try out all the new features added by Treyarch. Moreover, the beta includes exclusive rewards, which will carry over to the full game, that you can unlock.

The beta can also serve as a demo to help you decide whether or not you want to get Black Ops 6 when it eventually releases.

How to Access the Black Ops 6 Open Beta

You can download the Black Ops 6 Open Beta from Steam, the Playstation Store, the Microsoft Store, or Battle.net.

If you’re using Steam or Battle.net, you’ll need to have the Call of Duty HQ app installed.

The Black Ops 6 open beta officially starts on September 6 @ 10am PDT / 1pm EDT / 6pm BST and will end on September 9 @ 10am PDT / 1pm EDT / 6pm BST.

However, if you’ve preordered Call of Duty Black Ops 6, you’ll get early access, which started on August 30, and will be able to get into the action right away. If you pre-ordered physically, you’ll receive a code for early access to the beta. Moreover, Game Pass Subscribers will also have early access to the beta, but you’ll need Game Pass Core or Ultimate to access the multiplayer features.
