Starfield has a lot of planets for the players to visit and explore. Here, we will discuss how many planets there are in the game.

Starfield is Bethesda’s new RPG that branches out from their previous IPs. This time around, the game takes us into outer space to explore a whole universe. At the start of the game, you will be given a spaceship that can travel from galaxy to galaxy. You will be working with your fellow companions to uncover the secret behind an artifact.

Starfield offers players multiple galaxies to explore. There are a lot of areas you can explore in this game. Some of the areas have been handcrafted to serve as different quest locations, while others use procedurally generated environments to generate points of interest on the map.

Number of Planets in Starfield

Starfield has a universe for the players to explore. There are a lot of planets you can explore and map out on your journey through the game. Not all the planets are landable and explorable by foot. Some of the planets are gas giants that consist of completely gas. So you cannot land on them. But you can go up to those planets and scan them from the orbit to get a chunk of XP.

According to the devs, Starfield will have over 1,000 planets for the players to explore. These planets expand over 100 different galaxies. But not all the planets will have life on them. Some of them will be gas giants, mining planets, and so on. Only a handful of them are good for life.
