Popular Hololive VTuber Gawr Gura is taking an indefinite break from break from streaming due to health problems.
Gawr Gura is a popular Vtuber/streamer part of the Japanese Virtual YouTuber agency called Hololive. She started her VTuber journey on September of 2020 and has since amassed a massive following. Gura is the most subscribed VTuber with more than 4 million subscribers.
The theme for Gura’s virtual avatar is a shark girl and is often called “Same-chan” in japan as it means shark. Her Livestreams usually are playing games with other VTubers, singing, karaoke etc. She is massively popular because of her soothing voice and quirky nature. She regularly makes covers of songs on her YouTube channel getting thousands of likes and comments from admiring fans and followers.
Recently, Gura has been having some health problems and this is affecting her streaming schedule. So, she has decide to take an indefinite break from streaming and content creation to focus on her health.

Gawr Gura Taking Indefinite Break:
In a Twitter post, Gura announced her indefinite break from streaming. The Tweet reads,
“hi guys, i have a update;
had some chats with management and decided together that it would be best for me to take serious time for my health. thank you guys for understanding.
i want to come back strong for you—”
The Hololive English Twitter also posted a notice regarding Gura’s break. They wrote,
“Thank you, everyone, for always supporting our talents. hololive English member Gawr Gura
(@gawrgura) will be taking a break from streaming for a period of time due to health reasons.”
Despite taking a break from stream, Gura will still be active on Twitter and connect with fans and post updates about her situation.
“She will still continue to use Twitter to connect with fans. Please feel free to send her your well wishes and love. Thank you again for your patience and understanding. We look forward to her safe return once she gets better.”
Hearing the news, fans showed their support and said that they will wait to welcome gura once she is ready to come back.
