Lord Voldemort, the most infamous villain, can have a reappearance if you follow this build guide in Hogwarts Legacy.

Hogwarts Legacy gives the players an experience of what it feels like to be a part of it. You start the school as a fifth year. Being new to the school, as you attended different classes, you get to know more about magic and the spells, among many other things.

Hogwarts Legacy is an RPG. So you will have the option to customize the gears and talents for your character. This is where making builds come in. You can make different builds using the spells, gears, and talents we have seen the characters use in movies or books of the franchise.

That being said, Lord Voldemort is the main villain of the main-line movies. So, he has some powerful spells in his arsenal. Here is everything you will need to make a Lord Voldemort build.

Lord Voldemort Build in Hogwarts Legacy

There are many things you can customize for a character in Hogwarts Legacy. So let us go through each one by one to decide which house, spell, gear, and talent you will need for this build.

House

The actual name for Lord Voldemort when he was at Hogwarts was Tom Riddle. He was a part of the Slytherin house. So we will have to choose the house as Slytherin for this build.

Spells

As the person who wields all three unforgivable curses, these three curse spells are a must-have in your build. And since we will be using the curse spell, you will have to make a build around the curse mechanics of the game.

  • Crucio
  • Imperio
  • Avada Kedavra

Three unforgivable curses are not enough to make this build work. And as the game has shield mechanics coded with colors, you will need other spells to mix and match with your curses. Fortunately, we have just the ones.

  • Expelliarmus
  • Flippendo
  • Arresto Momentum

Expelliarmus will disarm the opponent and also function as a red shield breaker. Flippendo will act as a purple shield breaker and has a cool animation worthy of Lord Voldemort build. And finally, Arresto Momentum is the yellow shield breaker. This will also help you play the villain character by stopping enemies in their tracks.

Best Talents

For talents, we will be focusing on the dark arts tree. Since the unforgivable curses are the main focus of this build, we will ensure we curse the enemies with as many spells as possible. And, of course, we will need some core spells for the setup too. That being said, here are all the main talents you need to get.

  • Blood Curse: Dealing damage to a Cursed target inflicts damage to all cursed targets
  • Slowing Curse: Arresto Momentum has the same effect as a curse on enemies
  • Enduring Curse: A Cursed effect remains on an enemy for a longer duration
  • Imperio Mastery: An enemy under your control with Imperio curses other targets with each successful strike
  • Cruciatus Mastery: Striking an enemy cursed by Crucio releases a projectile that curses a nearby enemy
  • Avada Kedavra Mastery: Killing an enemy with Avada Kedavra kills all Cursed enemies
  • Curse Zapper: Defeating a Cursed enemy restores some HP
  • Basic Cast Mastery: Reduecs spell cooldown when the basic cast is used

Best Traits

  • Unforgivable: Increases Damage to all cursed targets
  • Concentration: Increases damage of all damage spell

Gears

Unfortunately, no gears resemble Lord Voldemort himself in the game. However, you can use a full face mask to make a face look like him. Make sure you are using the legendary gears; otherwise, you will not be able to use the tier 3 traits, result in your loss in damage.
