Hogwarts is filled with different puzzles to solve. Lock Puzzles are one of them. Here is how to solve it.

Hogwarts Legacy is the definitive way to enjoy being a student at Hogwarts. You will attend the Hogwarts class and learn different types of spells as you play through the game. But that is not all; you will also be going on a different adventure with different companions between your studies.

There are a lot of puzzles in Hogwarts Legacy. They can vary in difficulty, but most are not that hard. The lock puzzles we are talking about here are also known as arithmetic puzzles. If the name is not a giveaway already, you will have to do the math to open these doors. So here is how to solve these locks in Hogwarts Legacy.

How to Solve Arathmetic Lock Puzzles in Hogwarts Legacy

If you ever come across a door with a different animal symbol on the sides, you can easily solve these puzzles using math. Each of these door’s animals corresponds to a number. All you have to do is add all three numbers to make the number in the middle of the triangle. Use this chart to find out the values for each animal.

Alternatively, you can just remember that the left bottom represents 0, and the right bottom represents 9. As you move up from 0, each animal increases the value by 1. So, the numbers are sorted like this in this picture.

Now use these numbers to make the middle number and roll the corresponding animal onto the “?” and “??” mark. Then pressing the open option, the door will open for you to enter and collect the loots.
