Complete some easy yet, challenging steps to increase your inventory size in Hogwarts Legacy.
In Hogwarts Legacy, you learn to defend against various magic and melee attacks. And when you learn to defend, you then reply to your foes with the perfect spell to taste their own medicine. Moreover, you roam through the world of Hogwarts, search for relics, and loot the chest, and the first problem you face is inventory is getting red.
Yes, you will constantly see your inventory filling up, and the excess item you took by force will disappear quickly. Either you can sacrifice those items or increase your inventory slots so that you do not have to go through this problem again and again.
Now, the main reason you need to have free spaces is that you will upgrade your gear every now and then. And if all the required items are not present at the same time, I don’t need to mention the consequences.
So, without further ado, let’s see what we can do to make more spaces in our inventory in Hogwarts Legacy.

How to Increase Inventory Size in Hogwarts Legacy
By default, you’ll start with only 20 slots in the inventory. Clearly, that is never enough. You can always have more space and more slots. The more space you have, the more goes for the gear upgrade, and the faster you will upgrade your level. After all, cannot get stuck as a Fifth-year forever.
For that, you must first complete one of the Main Quests, Trials of Merlin. Initially, the quest is named Girl From Uagadou. Later on, it will change.
In this quest, you will help an NPC, Nora, close the deal with some Ashwinders. After you solve the “little” conflict, Nora will willingly share her research on Merlin Trials with you. In a short time, you will complete the first Merlin Trial with her. And that is how you will start the Trials of Merlin.
Once you complete the first one, you will notice that more of the Merlin Trials have popped up here and there. You will see Leaf icons denoting these trials. Nora will also provide you with the information that you need Mallowsweet Leaves to initiate these trials. No need to worry as these leaves sprout in the wild. And if this seems like a heavy-duty, you can always buy some from The Magic Neep in Hogseade.
When you complete each of these trials, you will end up with Two new slots in your inventory. Say, you will face a total of Twenty trials. That will end up with 40 new slots in your inventory. That’s a lot.
However, there is a catch. You might wonder what happens after each of these trials, as the inventory slots do not increase automatically after completing each of these trials. What you have to do is, you have to manually collect the rewards after you complete each of these Merlin Trials. New slots will be added instantly.
And that is all I had for how to increase your inventory size in Hogwarts Legacy.
