The strange story surrounding a Reddit user who appeared to predict the latest GTA 6 leaks has taken another turn. The person now identifying themselves as Reddit user PilotX1970 is promoting cryptocurrency addresses and asking followers for donations, adding fresh skepticism to their claims that people representing Rockstar Games recently appeared at their home.

The original Reddit post is still accessible despite being deleted by its author. PilotX1970 wrote “August 18th, don’t ask me how I know” and told skeptical users to return on that date. The timing became notable when the latest wave of GTA 6 leaks began circulating on August 18.
The person behind the X account @LewisBi94895348 has since publicly identified themselves as PilotX1970, claiming they were actually predicting a possible GTA 6 Trailer 3 release and simply made a lucky guess about the date.
Rockstar House Visit Claim Remains Unverified
Things became considerably stranger when the user uploaded footage allegedly showing people representing Rockstar at their home. The user claimed they were being questioned over possible connections to Cyberleek.
However, there is an important distinction here. Rockstar and Take-Two have not publicly confirmed sending lawyers or investigators to this person’s home. Even discussions on the original Reddit community have questioned whether the encounter could have been staged.
Take-Two is genuinely investigating the GTA 6 leaks, though. The publisher has filed DMCA subpoenas seeking identifying information from Microsoft and Discord in its effort to uncover who is behind Cyberleek.
Crypto Donations Raise Even More Questions
Now the story has another red flag. Screenshots from the X account show it posting cryptocurrency addresses with messages asking people to “donate to the cause,” while also sharing a Pump.fun page for a token called The GTA Insider, or LEWIS. Pump.fun currently lists tokens using both the Lewis and PilotX1970 names.
That does not prove the entire GTA 6 story was fabricated, nor does it establish a scam. Still, combining an extraordinary unverified Rockstar visit with sudden cryptocurrency promotion gives fans plenty of reason to remain skeptical until stronger evidence emerges.
