God of War Ragnarok has the same RPG mechanics as the first game. So every enemy has a level on them. Here you will find out the max level in the game.
God of War Ragnarok takes place a few years after the previous game. We find ourselves in the middle of Fimbulwinter, training so that we can eventually take on Odin and Thor when he comes to avenge their sons. The story continues from there onto an epic adventure spanning all the realms.
In the gameplay side of things, God of War Ragnarok builds upon the previous game. This time the combat and gameplay are much more in-depth than the previous one. In the last game, you need to play through almost half of the game before you get your Blade of Chaos. But this time, you start with both of the weapons.
Not just in weapons, the shield has been expanded too. You can change to different types of shields this time around. And the skill tree has been made new. Many of the old skill still remains and are usable from the start, but you get to upgrade a new skill tree in this game. With that, you may wonder, what is the max level this time? Here is everything you need to know about it.

What is the Max Level in God of War Ragnarok?
The max level in God of War Ragnarok is level 9. But levelling doesn’t work traditionally in this game. Kratos gains XP from fighting and solving puzzles, but that doesn’t make him level up. You can use this XP to unlock new skills and upgrade your rage abilities.
The actual level is bound to your armor and weapons. Upgrading armor and weapons increase their level. And once you equip enough of the high-level equipment, you will level up to the armor/weapon’s level.
By doing that, you can reach a maximum of level 9. Thus this is the max level of God of War Ragnarok. Reaching this level will help you defeat stronger enemies more easily.
