Xilolen is going to be in the first phase banner in 5.1. Based on the latest Xilolen leaks she is sure to become a must-pull for many. But how good is she?
Hoyoverse officially confirmed that Xilolen will be introduced in Genshin Impact version 5.1. While they have been reluctant to release the date of her banner. If we look into previous new character releases, it is safe to say that she’ll be in the first half.
Xilolen is said to be a sub-DPS unit focusing on healing and providing resistance shred. According to the data miners and leakers, she is said to have some of the highest resistance shred and healing potential in the game.
Resistance shred is something that Kazuha has been providing since his introduction to the game. This makes Xilolen a contender for his throne. With Kazuha’s banner still running you might be torn between pulling for the best support currently in the game and the possible best support for the future.
That’s why in this article, I will dive into Xilolen’s kit based on the leaks, her support potential, and whether she can dethrone Kazuha or not! Do keep in mind that I am making my opinion based on Xilolen leaks online, some personal math, and overall leaks from data miners.
Xilolen Kit Overview
Geo Kazuha or Kazuha without grouping is what comes to mind when you look into Xilolen’s kit. She is a Geo sword user who will scale with defense. This makes her extremely easy to build because Genshin seems to bless us with def stats in almost every artifact we roll on.
While her normal attacks do mediocre damage, it’s her elemental skill and burst that makes her one of the best supports in the game. Similar to other Natlan characters, her elemental skill allows her to enter the nightsoul state. This is where most of her support potential is showcased.
Upon pressing her skill she will enter her nightsoul blessing state and run around with her roller blades. In this state, depending on the party members you have, she will provide bonuses like attack buff, crit buff and HP increase along with a 40% resistance shred on the elements in your party (excluding Dendro and Anemo).
Using her burst provides a good nuke but also provides healing based on her def%. With an energy cost of 60, you can spam bursts on cooldown easily.
Her C1 provides resistance interruption but C2 is where things get crazy. In her C2 she provides the following buff:
- Geo: 30% Crit Rate%
- Pyro: 40% Atk%
- Hydro: 40% HP%
- Cryo: 50% Crit Damage
- Electro: 20% Energy
Her C4 provides normal, charged, and heavy attack by 65% of her defense and C6 makes her a proper DPS.
Her signature weapon will allow you to get all elemental damage bonuses to your party at 8% and up to 25.6% at R5.
The Scroll of Hero of Cinder City artifact set will allow your characters to have a 28% elemental damage bonus on top of that.

So Do Xilolen Leaks Suggest Her Above Kazuha?
Personally, based on the Xilolen leaks I have come across, I think she is a better unit than Kazuha but her full potential is locked behind constellations and weapons. Will I replace Xilolen with Kazuha? It depends, but I think they can work together to make more powerful outcomes!
It will be a tough decision in 5.1 as there are more interesting characters coming. You can learn about them in our 5.1 to 5.2 character leaks article.
