There are a lot of new leaks and speculations regarding version 5.1 of Genshin Impact. We can expect banner changes and surprise entries!
Genshin Impact is well known for hinting and scripting its storyline to introduce new characters and arcs. With the release of Natlan, there are a lot of things to speculate. With recent leaks from reliable sources, as well as some theory crafting, I have come across some more potential characters we might encounter in the story along with a massive change in the character lineup for version 5.1.
So, without further ado, let’s dive into the details!
We are Getting HuTao in Version 5.1
If you have followed our previous leak coverage on upcoming characters in versions 5.1 to 5.2, the banner lineup was rumored to include Wriothesley, Nahida, and Kokomi. But recent leaks from data miners suggest otherwise. HuTao will make a wild card entry along with Chiori.
Therefore, the updated lineup map for 5.1 looks like this: Xilolen & Chiori in Phase 1, Nahida & HuTao in Phase 2.
We can play as Mavuika
Multiple data leaks suggest that in the upcoming Archon Quest (in 5.1 hopefully) we will be able to take control of Mavuika for a short period.
This is most likely to be like the time when we got to use Thoma before he came out. So, just running around with her, maybe interacting with some mechanics. I don’t believe Hoyoverse will reveal her kit this soon.
Varka in Sumeru Festival
It has been mentioned in the Genshin Impact One Shot manga that Grandmaster Varka enjoys the Sabzeruz Festival. So he just might make a sudden appearance to surprise Collei this time around.
Also, keep in mind that a previous data leak does claim that Varka will be playable in version 5.
Skirk Appears in the Archon Quest
The last time we saw Skirk was way back in version 4.3 during the impending doom of Fontaine. From Childe’s voice lines and previous information, we know that she resides in the deepest part of the abyss and doesn’t meddle with the outside world.
But as Natlan’s story revolves around the unusual happenings and mechanics of the abyss it is high time Skirk shows up. There has already been a silent hint in the Archon quest as we explored the abyss through the ruined civilizations of the dragons. It looks like dragons are tied with the Hexenzirkel circle. And the one related to dragons and abyss them is Skirk. Also, the last time Skirk appeared, we saw the rise of the New Dragon Sovereign while we faced the whale of the abyss (Narwal).
Please keep in mind that all of these are rumors and aren’t confirmed by Hoyoverse. So, take all of these details with a grain of salt.
