Some recent Genshin Impact v2.3 Beta leaks have revealed a new event coming where players have to build a snowman. Also, a free 4* sword is the ultimate reward.
The Dragonspine region was introduced back in Genshin Impact v1.2. It is a snowy area in the southeast part of Mondstradt. Genshin Impact players got to explore Dragonspine and also meet Albedo during the event. Albedo, a Genshin Impact character asked for our help with some research in Dragonspine and also gave us the Festering Desire 4* sword during that event.
But, some recent leaks have come out that suggest we might be seeing Albedo in an event once again. Also, players can get another 4* sword from Albedo just like Dragonspine. The recent leaks shared some information about the upcoming event as well as stats for the free 4* sword, Snowman parts images, and more.

Genshin Impact v2.3 Beta Event Leaked:
Genshin Impact leaker Ubatcha recently shared an image of a sword that scales with def. The name of the sword is “Cinnabar Spindle”. The base stat of the sword is 41 at level 1 and 454 at level 90 and the secondary stat of the sword is Def%. Last but not least, the passive of the sword is-
“Elemental Skill DMG is increased by 40%/50%/60%/70%/80% of DEF. This effect is cleared 0.1s after the Elemental Skill deals DMG and will then enter a 1.5s CD.”
The ascension costs to level up the sword was also shared. The image below shows the cost to upgrade the “Cinnabar Spindle” sword from Level 1 to Level 90.
Travelers get the sword after completing the “Born of the Snow” section of the “Dust and Shadowed Snow” event. During this event, players will apparently have to make snowmen. After completing the 1st snowman, players get the “Cinnabar Spindle” sword for free.
The sword also has “Alkahest”, refinement mats that will be available from the event shop. The Tweet below shows the refinement mats for the “Cinnabar Spindle”.
Another Genshin Impact leaker BLANK revealed some of the parts that we can combine to make different snowmen. Players will get to choose different hats, heads, eyes, noses, scarves, bodies, hands, and base to make their ideal snowman.
As always, the aforementioned information should be taken with a grain of salt. The leaks are taken from the Beta version of Genshin Impact and are subject to change.
