With the latest 5.2 livestream program concluded, we officially know what characters are coming in version 5.2 and once its live we will get the official drip marketing of upcoming characters from Hoyoverse themselves.
But if you want to save early especially for the upcoming banners in version 5.3 to 5.4 then this leaks article is for you. I have compiled all the possible leaks regarding the next versions. Do keep in mind that these are leaks and not official confirmation from Hoyoverse. Therefore they are subject to change. So, take them with a large grain of salt.
Upcoming Characters in Version 5.3
Mavuika
It has been confirmed by the devs that the Natlan storyline will come to a conclusion in version 5.3. And we know that every archon becomes playable when their nation’s archon storyquest is completed.
Mavuika will have two elemental skill variants similar to Furina. There is a tap variant and a hold variant. When you tap her skill she will perform cooperative attacks similar to how Raiden’s elemental skill works. And when you hold it then you will get a pyro infusion and there’s also the bike. Yeah! She can ride a boke like the Inferno Rider in WuWa.
The Pyro archon’s elemental burst is a single hit that will trigger damage every two seconds for 12 seconds. This will make her the perfect off-field Pyro sub-DPS for many teams.

Yoimiya
I mean it almost seems like a pattern from Hoyoverse to release the rerun banner of Yoimiya with the most awaited characters of a new region. So following the pattern Yoimiya is joining Mavuika in the first phase of 5.3.
She is a great single-target pyro DPS who can become one of the best carriers if properly invested.
Citlali
The grandma of Ororon is joining the cast in the second phase of version 5.3. Citlali will be a 5-star Cryo character who will take on the shielder Sub-DPS role. Leakers suggest that she can become more versatile with constellations (something quite common in Natlan 5 stars).
It was also rumored that she will be a standard 5 star but that claim has been disregarded by others. Her off field Cryo application is rumored to be similar to how Emille applies Dendro. That being said there are still a lot to discover before coming to a conclusion.
Arlecchino
Last but definitely not the least is Arlecchino. She is one of the strongest DPS in the game, Arlecchino was introduced in patch 4.6 and is indeed for a rerun. As it seems that Mavuika will be a great support for Pyro units, it is highly suggested that she will make her rerun in the later half of version 5.3.
Liyue Chronicle Wish Banner
5.3 will also host the Lantern Rite event and here we will be getting a new Chronicle Wish banner. This time it will focus on Liyue characters. You can read this article to find the details.
Upcoming Characters in Genshin Impact 5.4
Madame Ping
Completing the Adeptus lineup of Liyue, Madame Ping/ Lanya is next. She will be the first character in version 5.4. She will get a similar introduction to Cloud Retainer. Like her name is Xianyun, not Cloud Retainer. However, she will have a younger female model who is similar to Keqing.
Though there are many who claimed her to be a Hydro DPS unit, latest leaks suggest that she will be a Anemo DPS unit. This means she will be a serious challenger to Xiao as he uses the same element and similar playstyle.
Rumors suggest that her Signature Weapon will be extremely useful for Xiao. This also makes her an ideal partner for Xianyun.
Xianyun
Accompanying Lanya is none other than her fellow adeptus Xiyanun. She is the best support for plunge DPS characters and will be vital if you want to bring out the full potential of Madame Ping!
Clorinde
The champion duelist of Fontaine will become available for wishing at the second half of version of 5.4. She was the last Fontaine character to be introduced in the Fontaine patches. This will be her first rerun and if you are looking for a great aggravate DPS then she might be someone to invest into.
Shenhe
It has already been over a year and half since we last got Shenhe’s banner. But according to leaks, she will finally get a rerun. With both Cloud Retainer and Madame Ping coming in version 5.4 I think it makes sense for her to return.
