A recent Genshin Impact leak revealed the possibility of a Pyro Abyss Herald coming to the game.
Currently, in Genshin Impact we have the Abyss Herald and the Abyss Lector. These enemies are not available in the open world and can only be found on the Spiral Abyss floor 10-3. When players bring their health down to a certain percent, both of them gain a special shield. Travelers need to break these shields with appropriate elements before damaging them further.
The Abyss Herald is of Hydro Element and the Abyss Lector is of Electro. And now, some recent Genshin leaks have revealed that a new Pyro Abyss Herald is coming to the game soon.

Genshin Impact leaker Ubatcha recently shared some info about the upcoming Pyro Abyss Herald enemy. According to Ubatcha, the Pyro Abyss Herald has a special mechanic that activates when he is close to dying. The Pyro Abyss Herald quickly starts siphoning health from the entire team when his health is brought down to a certain level. This health siphon deals true damage and ignores all shields and damage mitigation effects.
Another Genshin Impact leaker BLACK recently shared images of the Pyro Abyss Herald. From the images, we see the Pyro Abyss Herald has something that resembles fiery wings and can throw it down on the ground to attack.
Update:
Some new info came to light revealing the name of the Pyro Abyss Lector and its “Fathomless Flames”. Additionally, some of the Pyro Abyss lector’s attacks apply a mark when it damages characters. After a short while, these explode and cause the whole party to lose a ton of health.
The shield phase of the Abyss Lector: Fathomless Flame can be broken more easily by destroying the Darkfire Furnace placed on the ground.
