A recent Genshin Impact leak has suggested that a male Electro Catalyst user hailing from Sumeru is possibly in the works.

Genshin Impact is an Action-Adventure Open World game developed by Mihoyo. The game is mainly free to play with a gacha monetization system. Players can use real money to wish for new characters and weapons.

One of the most important things to keep Genshin Impact playerbase interested is to introduce new characters which Mihoyo is doing on a regular basis. Currently, there are multiple new characters coming in the next few months.

One of the upcoming new regions coming to Genshin Impact is Sumeru. According to a recent report by famitsu.com Mihoyo is supposed to release Sumeru after Inazuma. As of writing this article, we don’t know much about Sumeru except one character we saw in a trailer once.

But a recent Genshin Impact leak has possibly leaked a new character from Sumeru.

Sumeru Male Electro Catalyst User:

Currently, in Genshin Impact there are no male Catalyst Users. And the only Electro Catalyst user is also Lisa from Mondstradt. But both of these might change as a new leak suggests a male Electro Catalyst user is possibly in the works.

The image of the leak can be seen below. The leaked character has a similar clothing style to the previously seen character from Sumeru.

Take this information with a huge bag of salt as we don’t know much about the character. The leaker also couldn’t provide any further information about the character. So it’s yet to be certain that a character like this even exists. We will have to probably wait for some sort of official announcement from Mihoyo to be able to confirm this character.
