Genshin Impact “Enchanting Journey of Snow and Stars” Event: Duration, Rules, Details, Free Rewards, & More

Genshin Impact’s latest web event “Enchanting Journey of Snow and Stars” has started and this guide will help you find out all things like duration, rules, details, free rewards, and more about it.

Dragonspine is an area in Genshin Impact situated to the southeast of Mondstradt. The remains of “Durin”, an artificial dragon created by the alchemist Rhinedottir also lies spread across Dragonspine. The snow on Dragonspine never melts which makes it one of the most dangerous places in Mondstradt.

Dragonspine was first released back in Genshin Impact v1.2 as the game’s first map expansion. It has been one year since Dragonspine’s release and Genshin Impact is hosting a web event to celebrate it.

The design of Dragonspine was inspired by the Matterhorn mountain in the Alps. Genshin Impact also announced a collaboration with Val Thorens, The highest ski resort in the Alps. As part of this collaboration, Genshin Impact decorated the ski resort with Genshin Impact-themed rides, banners, posters. They also erected a monument similar to the teleport waypoints in-game.

Now, Genshin Impact is asking its playerbase to help light up the Alps by participating in the “Enchanting Journey of Snow and Stars” web event.

How to Participate:

Head over to the official Genshin Impact “Enchanting Journey of Snow and Stars” Web Event official page to take part.

Duration:

The web event duration is from 29th December 2021 11:00 – 9th January 2022 23:59 (UTC+8).

Waypoint Lighting Ceremony: Mid-January 2022.

Ceremony Replay and Tree of Wishes Viewing: Mid-January 2022 to long term.

Event Details:

1. Login using your Mihoyo or third party accounts for the web event, select the region, an “Alps Illumination Representative,” and make your own illumination souvenir card.
2. When the number of participants reaches the 300,000, 600,000, and 1 million, three types of reward packs, including Goulash ×3, Mora ×20,000, and Primogems ×30 respectively will unlock in sequence
3. Mihoyo has limited each reward pack to 3 millions so participate in the event before the rewards run out.
4. When the number of participants reaches 1 Million, an official Waypoint lighting ceremony will commence in the Alps.
5. Players can watch the lighting ceremony online in mid-January 2022 through the official Genshin Impact Twitch, YouTube and VK. Mihoyo will announce the exact date and time on their social media accounts at a later date.
6. There is also a “Hang Your Wishes” event where Mihoyo will hang lucky participants’s wishes on the Genshin Impact Tree of Wishes atop the Alps. Images of the Tree of Wishes will be available after Mid-Januray 2022. Selected participatns will receive individual wishing card pictures via email by january 15th.

The rules as stated by the Genshin Impact official event page are as follows-

1. Please do not disclose personal information while filling out your nickname and wish entries.
2. Nickname and wish entries will be invalid if they include content that discriminate against any race, gender, religion, ethnicity, politics or content that contains bullying. Participants will los their eligibity to be selected.
3. During the event, the information collected from participants by Genshin Impact team will only be used for identification and notification purposes, and will not be used for other purposes. The Genshin Impact team will comply with relevant laws and regulations on personal data protection and will properly and safely use and manage the aformentioned personal information. It will be immediately deleted after the end of the event.
