Genshin Impact 5.5 is set to release on Wednesday, March 26, following the usual maintenance schedule. Due to time zone differences, the update will be available in the United States on Tuesday, March 25.

Genshin Impact 5.5 Events

The 5.5 update brings a wealth of new content, including a new Natlan area (Great Volcano of Tollan), The Collective of Plenty tribe, and a new Saurian type – Tatankasaurus. Additionally, players can expect a new boss (Lava Dragon Statue), two new Artifact sets, and several quality-of-life updates, such as:

  • An improved Sanctifying Elixir system

Limited-Time Events in 5.5

1. Tournament of Glory in Bloom

  • A main event set in Natlan, featuring a returning competition.
  • Includes offensive and defensive battles resembling a “capture the flag” mode.
  • Features a 2D boardgame-like mode.
  • Rewards: 4-Star character Ororon, Primogems, Crown of Insight, and enhancement materials.

2. Quirky Quaking Arena

  • A co-op event focused on collecting Adventure Coins in different arenas.
  • Gameplay resembles Mario Kart’s Battle Mode.
  • Rewards: Primogems, character, and weapon materials.

3. Rhythm Ball Meztli

  • A music festival event at the People of the Springs tribe in Natlan.
  • Features Xilonen as a guest character.
  • Gameplay includes a Peggle-like mini-game.
  • Rewards: Primogems, character, and weapon materials.

4. Unlimited Fighting Championship

  • A combat-based event featuring five challenging stages.
