The recent developer discussions have brought new optimizations starting from the Genshin Impact 5.1 version.
We are extremely close to the Genshin Impact 5.1 version and it seems the devs have decided to further optimize the game. In the recent developer discussion, it has been listed that we are finally getting some optimization regarding the spiral abyss and much more focus on exploration.
There are a lot more changes and updates that we will receive according to the official statement from Hoyoverse. That is what I am going to describe today. So, let’s get started!
Skip Button in Spiral Abyss from Genshin Impact 5.1
Spiral Abyss is the go-to Endgame of Genshin Impact. For veterans and whales, the spiral abyss is the only means to feel challenged in the game. That being said, the real challenge actually starts from Floors 11 and 12. Till now, we had to complete Floor 9 and then gradually move to Floor 12.
Hoyoverse is now allowing players to skip floors 9 and 10 if they have obtained 36 stars in the previous spiral abyss cycle. In short, if you have cleared the 5.0 abyss 12 floors then you will be able to directly access floor 11 in 5.1. This cycle will continue as long as you have completed floor 12 with 9 stars from here on.
You don’t have to worry about missing the rewards as they will be forwarded to you. For those who haven’t conquered floor 12, you don’t have to worry. If you have completed floor 11 with 9 stars then you’d be able to start from floor 10 in Genshin Impact 5.1.
Area Exploration Rewards
Traversing the open world of Teyvat has been a big part of Genshin Impact’s marketing. And to be fair, the vast maps are something to appreciate. To encourage players, the devs are now offering limited-time new area exploration rewards. This event will last for two versions.
So, if we are getting one in 5.1 it will last for 5.1 and 5.2. For the new areas we already got in 5.0 the total amount of rewards is 400 primogems. There won’t be any new area in 5.1 though.
Players will have to complete 80% exploration of all 4 separated areas in the Natlan map to get the total reward.
New Character Materials Screen
We will also get a new character materials and talent requirements screen which will showcase what we are missing and need to get to level up and improve our characters.
