Gambit Esports sweep forZe 3-0 in the VCT 2021: CIS Stage 1 Masters Grand Finals

Valorant Champions Tour 2021: CIS Stage 1 Masters is the main event after the three regional challengers series tournaments. It is a two-stage tournament where 8 teams from the CIS region will fight it out for the $75,000USD prize pool and VCT Circuit points.

Gambit Esports qualified for Masters from VCT 2021: CIS Stage 1 Challengers 2. They won 2-0 in their match against GMT Esports. forZe qualified for Masters from CIS Challengers 2 defeating Shingeki no Kyojin 2-0. Gambit was the group champions in group A while forZe were the champions in group B. Now they face off against eachother in the Grand finals.

The first map was Ascent picked by Gambit. They lost the first attack round to forZe and the subsequent Eco round. But from the next buy-round, they had a winning streak to halftime. In the second half forZe tried to make a comeback but failed as Gambit only needed a few rounds to win. The second map was Bind picked by forZe. Both halves were very competitive with Gambit Esports clinching the map. The third map was Split picked by forZe. Both teams put up good defenses which the opposing team struggled to break. But with Gambit getting just enough attack round wins in the first half managed to close out the map as well as the series.

Overall, sheydos from Gambit Esports had the most outstanding performance with a +19 K/D and 149.9 ADR as Sage and Raze.
