Epic Games recently revealed the first Fortnite Season 8 Teaser.
Fortnite Season 7 is 97% complete with only 3 days remaining. This is around the time Epic starts releasing teasers for the upcoming season. And Epic has done just that and released a video teaser for the upcoming Skyfire event and Fortnite Season 8.
The official Fortnite Twitter account recently released the 45-sec video teaser. The Tweet announces the date and time of the Fortnite Skyfire event. According to the Tweet, the Skyfire event will be held on 12th September 2021 at 4 PM ET.

In the teaser, we hear a voice warning us about not fully trusting Dr Sloane. The voice also talks about something hidden inside the Alien Mothership that even Sloane is not aware of.
Nintendo eShop also added the Fortnite Season 8 Bus image showing the color scheme.
Epic Games released a blog post with some details about the event. The blog post explains Operation Skyfire in somewhat detail. Below you can find a summary of the blog post-
“Operation: Sky Fire — Fortnite’s Chapter 2 Season 7 ending event — takes place at 4 PM ET on September 12. Join a strike team and sneak aboard the Mothership to deliver IO’s final message to the invading Aliens.”
As usual with all prior events, Epic recommends jumping into the Operation: Sky Fire event playlist at least 30 minutes prior.
Things to complete before attending the Skyfire Event:
Epic Games also provided a checklist of things to complete before the Skyfire event goes live. These are below-
- Spend all your Gold Bars as they will reset once the event starts.
- complete any remaining Epic Quests and exchange your Battle Stars for the rewards you desire.
- Any unclaimed Battle Stars or Alien Artifacts at the end of Chapter 2 Season 7 will be automatically redeemed for rewards and styles starting with the earliest available unlocks
- Superman’s Quests will also need to be completed
