Fortnite data miners have found a new gun in the game files called “Junk Gun” along with three new exotic weapons that are yet to be added.
Fortnite Season 6 is off to a great start with tons of map changes and the introduction of a new crafting mechanic. The new season totally overhauled the previous loot pool and added tons of new guns and other items. But seems like we are going to get even more guns as the Fortnite data mining community has found the presence of 4 new guns in the game files.
The first among them is the “Junk Gun”. The concept for it was leaked back in Season 5 but seems like it was finally added to the game files in the v16.0 update. So it might make its way into the game pretty soon.
Then we have leaks of three new Exotic weapons that NPC’s will sell to us in the future. These exotics include the Marksman Revolver, Unstable Bow, and Grappler Bow that might be coming in a future Fortnite update. The flare gun might also make a comeback.

Fortnite “Junk Gun” Explosive Weapon:
Fortnite data miner iFiremonkey recently Tweeted about the “Junk gun”. It was also spotted in the battle pass trailer for Season 6. He also found some files related to the gun. According to iFiremonkey the ammo for the “Junk Gun” will be materials. Charging up the gun will grind down your materials and shoot “Junk Bomb” at enemies that will cause an explosion.
iFiremonkey’s Tweet reads,
“In The Battle Pass Trailer, Cluck can be seen holding the “Junk Gun”, an unreleased weapon in v16.00.
It appears that the ammo would be your materials, you would charge up the gun to “grind down” your materials, only to shoot them out at an enemy as an explosion.”
Another Fortnite data miner HYPEX found the model of the “Junk Gun” in the game files. He also found some strings and “Fortnite kill messages” related to the “Junk Gun”. HYPEX’s Tweet reads,
“Upcoming “Recycler” Weapon, it will suck in/recycle some type of ammo/mats and shoot a “Junk Bomb”, Here’s some more text related to it!
– Harvest Ammo
– <Player> Scrapped Themselves
– <Player> Scrapped <Player2> With a Recycler”
New Exotics:
The three new Exotics were also leaked thanks to iFiremonkey who even made a Tweet about them. The upcoming exotics will be sold by certain NPC’s and players can use gold to buy them. The NPC’s that are going to sell the new exotics are-
– Deadfire will sell a Marksman Revolver
– Rebirth Raven will sell an Unstable Bow
– Lara Croft will sell a Grappler Bow
These new weapons could be added to Fortnite in the next update or may take longer as it’s totally up to Epic Games. But the addition of new exotics and new weapons is always a good thing as it creates variation in the loot pool.
