Fortnite Season 6 has gone live just recently so here is a look at the new Inventory UI and the Weapon Crafting System.
Fortnite Season 6 downtime has finally ended and players with good internet are already enjoying the new solo event and season. This new Fortnite season introduced a lot of new weapons, a brand new battle pass, and map changes. Although the hype for the battle pass is larger than ever let’s take a moment to take a look at the new UI design and the new weapon crafting system.
Season 6 New Inventory UI:
The UI in Fortnite has seen many changes over the years. Fortnite generally makes some sort of UI changes to the Inventory system either to make it look sleeker or add more functionality. This time is not different as we have a new UI system that looks different and displays some more useful info including weapon recipes.
Season 6 New Weapon Crafting System:
Fortnite Season 6 also brought a new mechanic. Fortnite players can now craft weapons using various materials gathered from animals and the environment. The crafting system is built into the Inventory in a separate tab meaning you don’t need any crafting stations.
The in-game news feed was update with the following message and image. The message reads,
“Using loot from wildlife and technology untouched by the pulse, craft your own weapons anywhere. craft high-damage primal weapons like the primal rifle, high-precision familiar weapons like the revolver, and powerful bows like the flame and metal bow.”
