Fortnite and Nvidia have recently released a Creative map in Fortnite showing off the full potential of RTX.
With the recent release of the Nvidia RTX 30 series cards, we got RTX support for a lot of popular multiplayer games such as Fortnite, Apex Legends and Hyper Scape, etc. RTX support has already been enabled for all of these battle royale games. Nvidia RTX adds ray-traced shadows, ambient occlusion, global illumination, and much more.
Previously we had RTX showcase in Minecraft. We saw some custom maps sponsored by Nvidia to show off the true potential of RTX in Minecraft. These maps featured bright lights, realistic reflections, shadows, and much more. Some of the Minecraft RTX maps were so mind-blowing to watch that it didn’t even look like the usual Minecraft that we know. Now with RTX support coming to Fortnite, we have a custom map that showcases the power of RTX in Fortnite for the first time.

Fortnite Creative RTX map
The creative custom map is called RTX Treasure Run. The map is made by some talented Fortnite Creative map creators such as Swiftor, zbird8596, xRELLIKx, jeffvh94, and, CkayCinematic. The map features props and places that show off RTX effects to its full potential. In the map, you can-
- Race through a hall of mirrors showcasing reflections
- Traverse a medieval castle cast in shadows
- Sprint through a sunlit jungle
- Climb a giant statue and explore a shrunken science lab
You can explore all these places while also completing a challenge by collecting hidden coin. But you should really take time to expolre all the details put into map to show off Nvidia RTX.
How to Enter
- Get Fortnite (it’s free).
- In the game menu, load Fortnite Creative mode and launch into the game.
- Go up the stairs in front of you to a rift and hold down the use key (default: E) to change destination.
- Enter Code: 9189-0518-5408
- Let the map load, then enter the rift.
- Post your gameplay or screenshot on social. Use hashtag #FortniteRTX #UltimatePlay and tag @NVIDIAGeForce to be entered for a chance to win an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 or 3080 Graphics Card.
