Here are the best team comps you can try in Exoprimal.
Teamwork is an integral part of Capcom’s new third-person dino-shooter. After all, cooperating with your exosuit companions is the key to successfully fighting off the hordes of dinosaurs running in your direction.
That’s right, you and your teammates will fight mutated dinos in your cutting-edge powered exosuits in Exoprimal. Having said that, each suit belongs to a different class, so your role in battle will be divided into three major categories: assault, tank, and support.
Since you’ll be battling these primal creatures in a team of 5, it is important that your team’s composition ensures the highest rate of success. Ideally, you will want to rely on your assault suits for their mobility and high damage output, tank suits to back them up by drawing and absorbing enemy attacks, and support tanks for team stat buffs and enemy debuffs.

However, not all exosuits in Exoprimal can work in synergy. To ensure the highest rate of success in your battles, we have put together the best team compositions you can try in Exoprimal.
Best Team Comp in Exoprimal
Among the 10 exosuits in the game’s current lineup, here are our picks for the best ones you can pair in a team. Keep in mind that you can change your exosuit at any time during battle to adapt to any situation. That’s why, it may even be beneficial to have more than one of the same exosuit in your team.
The Tank-Support Team
- Krieger (Tank)
- Krieger / Roadblock (Tank)
- Skywave (Support)
- Nimbus (Support)
- Deadeye (Assault)
We have found that the best and fastest way to ensure victory against the Dinos in Exoprimal is by having two Tank characters and two Support characters in your team. For this composition, it is best to use two Kriegers as their bubble shield will provide you with 360-degree protection while devastating enemies with its minigun and missiles.
Alternatively, you can choose Roadblock instead of a second Krieger or switch one of the Kriegers out for a Roadblock midway since its shield is one of the best in the game. Moreover, its abilities pair well with a Krieger, making them a deadly combination.
Moreover, having Skywave on your team is not only great for targetting flying enemies, but its ability to pull groups of dinos towards it with Graviton Cage complements Krieger’s abilities.
Furthermore, Skywave’s ability to fly allows it to heal allies from a safe distance without getting in the line of fire. Meanwhile, you can have Nimbus provide field-support since it is a fairly decent damage dealer and healer.
And lastly, you will want to pick Deadeye for Assault since it offers the most consistent kill performance among all other assault suits. Moreover, you can rely on Deadeye to clean up any straggler with the Ravager.
The Assault-Focused Team
- Deadeye (Assault)
- Barrage (Assault)
- Nimbus (Support)
- Witchdoctor (Support)
- Krieger (Tank)
If you like to stay on the offensive, then forming a team with two hard-hitting Assault suits like Deadeye and Barrage, along with two Support suits that can flawlessly switch between healing and attacking will be the ideal composition for you.
Deadeye is not only good at mid-range and long-range attacks that can take down flying enemies but also excels in dealing massive AoE damage with its Rifle Grenade. Moreover, you can have it deploy heavy weaponry that can wipe out bosses and enemy players alike.
Being the second-best damage dealer after Deadeye, it only makes sense to have Barrage in your assault-focused team as well. After all, Barrage excels at dealing explosive damage and setting enemies on fire. Moreover, it can also stun enemies to stop them in their tracks, allowing you to deal more effective AoE damage with your explosives.
And for support, we have picked Nimbus and Witchdoctor for their agility, as well as their ability to provide both combat and healing support. With Nimbus, your team can gain different stat buffs while enemies will be put at a disadvantage with various stat debuffs.
On the other hand, Witchdoctor can combine both skills and attacks with other teammates to double the damage of your team’s attacks. Furthermore, it can also reduce the enemy’s speed while boosting yours.
But that’s not all; the Witchdoctor exosuit is also capable of paralyzing enemies, as well as healing multiple allies at once within its Rescue Field. Lastly, you’ll want to pick Krieger for providing additional support with its bubble shield and unleashing a barrage of attacks with its minigun.
