Riot Games has already teased us with a new map in VALORANT, and it turns out the name for this new map is “Pearl.”

VALORANT is a free-to-play first-person hero shooter developed and published by Riot Games. It was first released back in June of 2020. In the beginning, it had 4 maps: Haven, Bind, Split, and Ascent. In the first year of VALORANT, we got three new maps, Icebox, Breeze, and Fracture.

The last map, Fracture, was released back in September 2021, almost one year ago. Previously, it seemed like VALORANT would release a new map every six months, but it was not the case. The initial maps in VALORANT were well-thought-out and very popular among the players.

However, the latest maps, such as Fracture and Breeze, were not exceptionally popular compared to other maps. Especially, Riot Games received negative criticism over the Fracture map because of its uncommon layout. So it seems like, now Riot is takings its sweet time to release its next map to VALORANT.
