Recently Epic Games decided to disable the Abductors and Mothership Abductions in Fortnite.

Abductors are giant Alien spaceships flying over the Fortnite island. These flying machines abduct the players into the Alien Mothership looming over the map and allow players to play a minigame to acquire some loot. Fortnite players can get a lot of high-tier loot at the beginning of the game by visiting the Mothership via the Abductors.

Fortnite introduced Abductors at the beginning of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7. Since then they have been a core mechanic of Fortnite Battle Royale. But recently Epic Games announced the removal of Abductors.

Fortnite service update Twitter account FortniteStatus recently announced the removal of the ABductor ships and Mothership abductions. The Tweet reads,

“Due to an issue, we’ve disabled Abductor ships and Mothership abductions are currently turned off.”

Epic possibly disabled abductors after some players found a glitch that made them invulnerable and win the game automatically. In order to replicate this glitch, you need to knock yourself by blowing up gas cans just before being sucked in by the Abductors.

Later you need the help of a friend to pick your knocked body up after entering the Mothership. After the minigame timer ends while the Mothership you will get god mode and win the game automatically.

Fortnite YouTuber OrangeGuy made a video showing how to replicate the glitch in a video. But as Epic has disabled the Abductors there is currently no way to replicate this glitch.
