However, a lot of these tasks in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will require the use of Energy Cells, which need to be upgraded as well.

Energy Cells in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom can be upgraded to increase and get more energy cells. Upgrading and increasing the cells is very important for traveling long distances in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom using the several vehicles that the players can craft.

The process to get more Energy Cells in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is rather an easy one. However, the players will need to spend some time mining in the caves to complete this task. Collect Zonaite

The first and foremost step of upgrading your energy cell in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is to collect Zonaites. Zonaites are the latest ores that were introduced through this game. Zonaite can be collected by mining in the Mining Cave at Great Sky Island.

You can also collect Zonaite by going into the depths under the land of Hyrule. However, make sure to take a lot of anti-gloom recipes with you, as the depths are filled with gloom monsters. You can find a large amount of Zonaite from the depths.

Obtain Crystallized Charges

Link can get one Crystallized Charge by trading three Zonaite with the Forge Constructs. A Forge Construct can be found in the Mining Cave. However, this Forge Construct can only trade up to 10 Crystallized Charges at a time.

Another Forged Construct is located at the Great Abandoned Mine in the Great Plateau. You can get 30 Crystallized Charges with one trade from this Forged Construct.

Upgrade to Energy Well

The final step of upgrading energy cells in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is to obtain energy wells. You can exchange 100 Crystallized Charges to obtain one energy well. And to increase one energy cell, you will need three energy well. So to increase your energy cell, you will need three Energy Wells, which can be obtained by trading 300 Crystallized Charges, which can be obtained by trading 900 Zonaites.

In order to get these Energy Wells, you will need to find Crystal Refineries. These Crystal Refineries are situated inside the caves and managed by Steward Construct. The easiest Crystal Refinery to find is the one beside the Lookout Landing. This refinery (-0214, 0196, 0031) will be marked on your map with a battery sign.
