Riot has officially revealed the upcoming Jax skin, Empyrean Jax, which will release on patch 12.21.
Ever since the collaboration with Lil Nas X on the Worlds 2022 music video, one of the skin lines that has been teased is the Empyrean skin line.
Almost a month later, Riot Games unveiled the upcoming Empyrean skin line. This new skin line has a futuristic neon look.
The lore of this new skin line is that Pyke is trying to hunt the other version of himself across the realms, driven by revenge. After each kill, the realm collapses, and a new Empyrean is born with volatile powers from the Foreglow and a mission all their own.
This skin line will feature eight new skins. One of the new skins is Empyrean Jax.
Jax is one of the first champions of League of Legends. Released over a decade ago, Jax is a fan-favourite champion. Jax is one of the champions who are very easy to learn but hard to master. He offers a type of skill expression that very few champions can offer. The closest champion that can be compared with Jax is Lee-Sin.
Including one prestige skin, Jax has a total of 13 skins. The last skin he received was Conqueror Jax, which was an esports skin. Before that, he received a legendary skin in 2020, Mecha Kingdom Jax.

Release Date
The Empyrean Jax skin will release alongside the rest of the Empyrean skins in patch 12.21. Moreover, it will hit live servers on November 3.
